About WalleTechs
WalleTechs comes from more than 12 years of working in the wallpaper and ecommerce space.
I’ve spent much of my career inside wallpaper companies, working through the real day-to-day problems that come with selling this category online. That includes experience with large manufacturers and distributors like Brewster Home Fashions, York Wallcoverings, and Hytex.
Over time, one thing became pretty clear: wallpaper ecommerce has its own set of challenges. It is not the same as selling a T-shirt, a candle, or a piece of furniture.
A wallpaper customer is thinking about pattern, scale, color, room setting, material, repeat, samples, availability, and a dozen other details before they feel confident enough to buy. On the business side, there is product data, merchandising, B2B customers, pricing, inventory, image management, search, filters, marketplaces, and all the small workflows that keep the site running.
WalleTechs focuses on the pieces that make ecommerce easier to shop and easier to manage after launch.
Why I started it
I started WalleTechs to help wallpaper and home decor brands build ecommerce experiences that make sense for how the category actually works.
Better systems. Better product pages. Better catalog structure. Better shopping paths. Better tools for the people managing the site every day.
I know how frustrating it can be when a site looks good on the surface but is hard to update, hard to merchandise, or hard for customers to shop. I’ve been on the inside of those conversations.
The goal is simple: help brands clean up the messy parts of ecommerce and turn them into something more useful, more scalable, and easier to grow.
